Dilution Using Super 10 All purpose Cleaner

Using Buckets

Normal floor and wall washing: 30ml Super 10, 9 litres water (ratio 300/1).
Heavy duty floor and wall washing: 45ml Super 10, 9 litres water (ratio 200/1).
Windows: 10ml Super 10, 4,5 litres water (ratio 450/1).
Pot and pan washing: 45ml Super 10, 4,5 litres water (ratio 100/1).
Wax stripping: 450ml Super 10, 4,5 litres water (ratio 10/1).
Heating and air conditioning filters: 45ml Super 10, 4,5 litres water (ratio 100/1).
Grill and range filters: 360ml Super 10, 4,5 litres water (12/1).
Motor parts and greasy tools: 150ml Super 10, 4 litres water (ratio 26/1).

Using 500ml Dispenser

Oven and grill cleaning: 100ml Super 10, 300ml water (ratio 3/1).
Windows, mirrors, porcelain, stainless steel surfaces, ceramic tiles: 1ml Super 10, 450ml water (ratio 385/1).
Heavily soiled bathroom fixtures, wash basins, dirt and grease spots, carpets, car and furniture upholstery, and garbage cleaning: 15ml Super 10, 450ml water (ratio 30/1).
Bowl cleaning: 45ml Super 10, 450ml water (ratio 10/1).
De-greasing engines: 100ml Super 10, 300ml water (ratio 3/1).

• The above are suggested uses that are being used by a large volume user.

• For removing heavy grease: 3 parts Super 10, 1 part L.D.C., 12 parts water.
• For removing light grease and cleaning new carpeting before selling: 2 parts Super 10, 1 part L.D.C., 2 parts Carpet Glo, 5 parts water.
• For removing adhesive from carpeting and walls: 2 parts Super 10, 2 parts L.D.C., 3 parts G1, 3 parts water.

School Uses for GNLD

General Maintenance

Super 10

(all purpose cleaner) - If each room were supplied with a prepared 10 to 1 solution of Super 10 in a spray bottle, the teachers and students could have a readily available cleaning solution that would meet the needs for emergency cleaning for general clean-up activities. It would cost the school very little to refill a 500ml bottle that could be used without the toxic or caustic dangers present in some other all-purpose cleaners.

10 to 1: 10 parts water, 1 part Super 10: clean crayon marks, hand prints, scuffs, spots from furniture, walls, carpeting and flooring, cleans shower tiles and shines chrome fixtures.

4 parts water, 1 Super 10, 1 part Ammonia: strips wax with hot water (apply to floor, allow to work for 10 minutes, wipe up).

L.D.C.

- hand cleaner diluted 50 - 50 will clean extremely greasy or dirty hands.

6 parts water, 1 part L.D.C.: can be used to fill hand dispensers in washroom (will not clog dispensers).

2 parts water, 1 part L.D.C.: washing dishes by hand. Washes fruit and vegetables to remove residue without taste.

Carpet Glo

- dilute 40 parts water, 1 part Carpet Glo to clean, brighten and protect carpeting and upholstery. DILUTE 30 to 1 FOR COMMERCIAL DRY-FOAM SHAMPOOER.

Laundry

G1 (laundry compound) - 40ml to standard home washer holds dirt in suspension. Can be used as abrasive, completely rinsable in washing oil-mop heads. 40ml to 75ml Super 10 can be added to cut oil build-up.

Kitchen and Home Economic Departments

Super 10

- 10 to 1: removes grease spattering from hoods over stove, walls, tiles, etc., shines and cleans chrome. Cuts soap film in sinks, cleans grease and food stuffs from counter tops and tables, cleans stainless steel, cleans and deodorizes refrigerators and freezers, cleans floors, cleans vinyl upholstery, and deordorizes room.

Super 10

- 3 to 1: cleans ovens and other surfaces with baked on grease (preheat oven to 93?C, turn off, saturate with Super 10, let stand 15 minutes, wipe out with steel wool pad. Rinse.

Wash ’n Wax

- 3 to 6 drops, 500ml water. Cleans and leaves thin wax finish on appliances, fixtures and windows; reduces ice-cling to freezer coils. Capful to bucket of cool water wipes up floors leaving wax finish.

Shop Department

Super 10

- 10 to 1: removes grease, smudges and hand prints from metal, plastics, porcelain, vinyls, etc.; mixed with methyl alcohol cleans tools, machinery and mechanical parts without corroding or rusting. Cleans vinyl upholstery; removes spots from all fabrics.

Wash ’n Wax

- 3 drops, 500ml water (or 1 cap to 6 litres water). Washes windows leaving them less conducive to dust or other statically charged dirt. 2ml Wash ’n Wax is great for outside windows to reduce dust cling, also to reduce static electricity when used on inside. This portion is used with 240ml water (can be hosed off outside and left to dry without danger of streaking, no need to squeegee or chamois); mop floor if thin coat of wax is desired; washes panelling or other finished wood surfaces leaving a thin coat of wax.

Art Department

Super 10

- 10 to 1: removes fresh paint spots from clothing, floors, etc. Removes fresh oil paint from cabinets, table surfaces, floor and wood surfaces. Removes indian ink, wax crayons from all surfaces including fabric. Deodorizes room.

Super 10

- 3 to 1: cleans paint brushes, including fresh paint (oil paint), cleans utensils, such as pen points, palette knives, etc. Removes some fresh glue, but not rubber cement. Cuts film in sinks.

General Disinfectant

Use of CARE is especially effective here.

Service Stations

• Car Windows:
  Carpet Glo mixed 1 part to 40 parts water.


• Glass Cleaner:
  Carpet Glo mixed 1 part to 10 parts water.


• Hand Cleaner - Grease Rack or Shop:
  1 part L.D.C. to 1 part water.


• Hand Cleaner for Rest Rooms:
  1 part L.D.C. to 6 parts water.


• Cleaning Parts and Tools:
  1 part Super 10 to 3 parts water.


• Car Engines:
  Super 10 mixed 1 part to 3 parts water, plus 1 cap L.D.C. Spray onHOT engine. Let soak and keep damp for 5 minutes. Agitate stubborn spots with steel wool. Wash with hose while still damp.


• General Cleaning:
  1 part Super 10 to 10 parts water.


• Ceramic Tile-Grouting:
  1 part L.D.C., 1 part Super 10 to 10 parts water. Scrub with brush.


• Varnished Walls:
  1 part L.D.C. to 30 parts water. Wipe down with sponge. Wipe or rinse with 1 capful (5ml) Wash ’n Wax to 4,5 litres water to leave light wax film.


• Painted Walls:
  60ml each of L.D.C., Super 10 and G1 added to 9 litres of water. Spray with spray bottle or wipe with towels. Rinse with clean warm water.


• Wax Stripping:
  60g G1, 120ml Super 10, 30ml L.D.C. in 4,5 litres HOT water. Apply with string mop. Let set 5 to 10 minutes. If old wax is stubborn, add 120ml more of Super 10 to solution. Rinse twice with clean water. If floor dries spotty or feels gritty, repeat cleaning procedure.


• Waxing:
  Fantastik is patchable. Use string mop. Wet mop and wring dry as possible. Apply Fantastik as thinly as possible undiluted. Allow each coat to dry thoroughly. Apply 3 coats. To touch up or remove heel marks and scratches, spray Fantastik mixed 1 part Fantastik to 3 parts water with 4 drops of L.D.C. in spray bottle. Scrub with mop or brush. Shines like new after drying.


• Cleaning Waxed Floors:
  Add 30ml L.D.C. to 4,5 litres water. Mop floors.


• Upholstery:
  Spot with 1 part Super 10 to 10 parts water. Shampoo with brush using Carpet Glo mixed 1 part Carpet Glo to 40 parts water.


• Upholstery Spots:
  Spot with Super 10. 1 part Super 10 to 10 parts water. Let dry.


• Carpets:
  Spot with Super 10 mixed 1 part Super 10 to 10 parts water. Shampoo with Carpet Glo mixed 1 part Carpet Glo to 40 parts water. If carpet is greasy, mix 1/4 part Super 10 for each part Carpet Glo.


• Vinyl Car Tops:
  30ml Super 10, 30ml L.D.C. to 4,5 litres water. Apply solution and scrub with nylon brush. Rinse well. Apply Fantastik thinly with sponge. Allow to dry. Looks like new.


• Car Wash:
  1 capful (5ml) Wash ’n Wax in 6 litres water. Wash and rinse with water. Will dry leaving a fine wax coat, streak free with minimum of wiping. Using Carpet Glo solution 1 part to 100 parts water for windows.


• Tar and Bugs:
  Super 10 - 1 part Super 10 to 3 parts water.


• Badly Oxidized Paint:
  Wash with Super 10 mixed 1 part to 5 parts water. Then wash with 1 capful (5ml) Wash ’n Wax to 6 litres water. Rinse off.

Restaurant Service

• Waxing:
  Fantastik is patchable. Use string mop. Wet mop and wring dry as possible. Apply Fantastik as thinly as possible, undiluted. Allow each coat to dry thoroughly. Apply 3 coats.


• Wax Stripping:
  60g G1, 120ml Super 10, 30ml L.D.C. in 4,5 litres HOT water. Apply with string mop. Let set 5 or 10 minutes. If old wax is stubborn, add 120ml more Super 10 to solution. Rinse twice with clean water. If floor dries spotty or feels gritty, repeat cleaning procedure.


• Cleaning Waxed Floors:
  Add 30ml L.D.C. to 4,5 litres water. Mop floor.


• Pot and Dish Soak:
  1 capful L.D.C. to bowl of water or 1 squirt from dispenser in bowl of water.


• Hand Cleaner:
  Liquid dispenser - mix 1 part L.D.C. to 6 parts water.


• Carpets:
  Spot with Super 10 mixed 10 parts water to 1 part Super 10. Shampoo by hand with Carpet Glo mixed 40 parts water to 1 part Carpet Glo. If carpet is greasy, mix 1/4 part Super 10 for each part Carpet Glo. Dilute 30 to 1 for Commercial Dry-foam Shampooer.


• Upholstery:
  Spot with 1 part Super 10 to 10 parts water. Shampoo with 1 part Carpet Glo to 40 parts water. Use only the foam.


• Ovens:
  Fill spray bottle - 3 parts water to 1 part Super 10; add 1 cap of L.D.C. Heat oven 93ºC. Turn off. Spray oven with mixture and keep moist for ten minutes. Use steel wool pad and putty knife to remove baked on crust. If stubborn spots remain, repeat procedure.


• Stainless Steel:
  Super 10 mixed 1 part Super 10 to 10 parts water.


• Windows:
  Mix 1 part Carpet Glo with 100 parts water. Spray and wipe clean, lint free cloth.


• Mildewed Showers or Refrigerators:
  Spray with 1 part L.D.C. to 10 parts water. Scrub with soft brush or turkish towel. Old toothbrush is good on grouting.


• Restaurant Hoods:
  Spray with 1 part Super 10 to 3 parts water. Agitate with steel wool. Rinse with water or Wash ’n Wax solution for protective wax film.


• Furniture:
  Wipe with Lemon Glo and with a soft clean cloth. Cleans and polishes at the same time.


• Toilet Bowl Cleaning:
  1 cap of L.D.C. and 1 cap of Super 10 and sprinkle with G1. Scrub until clean.


• General Disinfectant:
  Mix one part Care with 50 parts water. Care does not mask the offensive odours with a strong perfume, but destroys the odour chemically at its source.


• Varnished Walls:
  1 part L.D.C. to 30 parts water. Wipe down with sponge. Wipe or rinse with 1 capful Wash ’n Wax to 4,5 litres of water. Will leave a light wax film.


• Painted Walls:
  60ml each of L.D.C., Super 10 and G1 added to 9 litres of water. Spray with spray bottle or wipe with towels. Rinse with clean water.

Caravan Clean-Up

• Windows:
  Carpet Glo mixed 1 part to 100 parts water.


• Carpets - Spots:
  Spot with All Purpose Cleaner Super 10 mixed 1 part Super 10 to 10 parts water.


• Carpets:
  Shampoo with Carpet Glo mixed 40 parts water to 1 part Carpet Glo with hand brush or 1 part Carpet Glo to 30 parts water with shampooer. If carpet is greasy, mix 1/2 part Super 10 for each part Carpet Glo.


• Upholstery - Vinyl - Imitation Leather:
  Spray with All Purpose Cleaner Super 10 - 60ml Super 10 and 30ml L.D.C. to 4,5 litres water. Apply solution and scrub with nylon brush. Rinse well. Apply Fantastik thinly with sponge on the vinyl or imitation leather surfaces. Allow to dry. Looks like new.


• Panelled Walls:
  1 part L.D.C. to 30 parts water. Wipe down with sponge. Wipe or rinse with 1 capful (5ml) Wash ’n Wax to 9 litres water to leave light wax film.


• Oxidized Paint:
  Wash with Super 10 mixed 1 part to 5 parts water. Then wash with 1 capful (5ml) Wash ’n Wax to 6 litres of water. Rinse off.


• Washing New Caravan:
  1 capful (5ml) Wash ’n Wax to 6 litres water.


• All Purpose Cleaner:
  Super 10 mixed 1 part to 10 parts water.


• Kitchens, Ovens, Hoods over Stove, Refrigerators, Stoves:
  Super 10 - 1 part Super 10 to 3 parts water.


• General Disinfectant:
  Mix one part Care with 50 parts water. Use in and around the toilet, in sink, garbage cans. Care cleans, disinfects, sanitizes and deodorises.

• Car Wash:
  a) Wash ’n Wax diluted 1500 to 1 for pressurized systems. Washes and adds a wax finish.
  b) Tar and Bugs - 1 part Super 10 to 3 parts water plus 1 part L.D.C.
  c) Badly Oxidized Paint - Wash with Super 10 mixed 1 part to 5 parts water. Then wash with 1 capful (5ml) Wash ’n Wax to 6 litres water. Rinse off.


• Car or Showroom Windows:
  1 part Carpet Glo to 100 parts water.


• Upholstery Spots:
  Spot with 1 part Super 10 to 10 parts water. Let dry. (Use distilled water.)


• Upholstery:
  Spot with 1 part Super 10 to 10 parts water (use distilled water). Shampoo by hand with sponge - Carpet Glo mixed 1 part Carpet Glo to 40 parts distilled water. Use only the foam.


• Carpets:
  Spot with Super 10 mixed 1 part Super 10 to 10 parts water. Hand shampoo with 1 part Carpet Glo to 40 parts water. If carpet is greasy, mix 1/4 part Super 10 for each part Carpet Glo. Use only the foam.


• Car Engine:

All Purpose Cleaner:
Super 10 mixed 1 part to 10 parts water.

• Carpets:
  Spot with Super 10 All Purpose Cleaner. Shampoo with Carpet Glo mixed 40 parts water to 1 part Carpet Glo with hand brush or 1 to 30 parts with shampooer. If carpet is greasy, mix 1/2 part Super 10 for each part Carpet Glo.


• Upholstery Spots:
  Spot with Super 10 All Purpose Cleaner.


• Upholstery:

• Vinyl or Imitation Leather Surface:
  Spray with All Purpose Cleaner or 60ml Super 10 and 30ml L.D.C. to 4,5 litres water. Apply solution and scrub with nylon brush. Rinse well. Apply Fantastik thinly with sponge. Allow to dry. Looks like new.


• Toilets:
  1 capful L.D.C., 1 cap Super 10, sprinkle with G1. Let soak 10 minutes. Scrub until clean.


• Showers:
  Regular cleaning - use Super 10 All Purpose Cleaner.


• Mildewed Showers, Refrigerators, Tile and Shower Doors:
  If heavily soiled or mildewed, fill 500ml spray bottle almost full with water, add 30ml pure L.D.C. Mix well. Spray on surfaces. Scrub with soft brush or turkish towel. If lightly soiled, use same solution, but wipe off with towel. You will not have to scrub.


• Ceramic Tiles:
  Clean with Super 10 All Purpose Cleaner.


• Sinks and Tubs:
  Spray with Super 10 All Purpose Cleaner. Sprinkle with G1. If dirty, scour with a steel wool pad. Harsh cleaners make surfaces porous so that dirt and grease can easily become embedded in them.


• Grouting:
  Same as for mildewed showers. Rinse well with 1 capful (5ml) Wash ’n Wax in 6 litres water and go over shower, tiles and grouting. This will leave a protective light wax film.


• Stainless Steel:
  Spray with Super 10 All Purpose Cleaner.


• Varnished Walls:
  1 part L.D.C. to 30 parts water. Wipe down with sponge. Wipe or rinse with 1 capful Wash ’n Wax to 9 litres water to leave light wax film.


• Painted Walls:
  60ml L.D.C., 60ml Super 10 and 60g G1 added to 9 litres of water. Spray with spray bottle or wipe with a towel. Rinse with clean water.

Office

• Toilet Bowl Cleaning:
  1 capful of L.D.C., 1 cap Super 10 and sprinkle G1. Let soak 10 minutes. Scrub until clean.


• Sinks and Tubs:
  Spray with Super 10 All Purpose Cleaner, sprinkle with G1. If dirty, scour with a steel wool pad. Harsh cleaners make the surfaces porous so that dirt and grease can easily become embedded in them.


• Hand Soap:
  1 part L.D.C. to 6 parts water.


• Wax Stripping:
  60g G1, 120ml Super 10, 30ml L.D.C. in 4,5 litres HOT water. Apply with string mop. Let set 5 to 10 minutes. If old wax is stubborn, add 120ml more of Super 10 to solution. Rinse twice with clean water. If floor dries spotty or feels gritty, repeat cleaning procedure.


• Waxing:
  Apply Fantastik with string mop. Wet mop and wring dry as possible. Apply Fantastik as thinly as possible, undiluted. Allow each coat to thoroughly dry. Apply 3 coats. Fantastik is patchable, skid proof and non- yellowing.


• Painted Walls:
  60ml each of L.D.C. and Super 10 and 60g G1 to 9 litres water. Spray with spray bottle or wipe with a towel. Rinse with clean water.

G1 - Laundry Compound

• It is advisable to use some L.D.C. especially in Heavy and Medium Soiled clothes for its superior water wetting action and it provides residual suds throughout, in other words, the suds can be seen.


• Also L.D.C. wets water and removes soil faster than alkali and salts.


• Suggest that bleach can be reduced because of solubility factors of G1 and L.D.C.


• Also the acid needed to reduce alkali is very small with G1 and L.D.C. Its use for removing iron from the piping system remains the same.


• A sizeable savings on life of clothes is possible by eliminating the alkali. Other savings on life of clothes can result from less mechanical action.


• Fewer rinses are needed. The reason being that these compounds are more water soluble than the alkali of soap.


• By using the suggested formulae there is no yellowing of whites after washing and/or ironing.


• In addition to the cleaning ingredients, G1 and L.D.C. have numerous other items blended to make the products rinse out properly, clean all types of soil, and work in hard water.


• G1 has shown excellent whiteness retention and continuity of fabric tensile strength.


• Overall Savings:
  10.1 Elimination of 1/2 the bleach.
  10.2 Elimination of anti-chlorine.
  10.3 Elimination of at least 1/2 of the fabric softener.
  10.4 Since there are NO FILLERS, i.e. volcanic ash,
  salt, etc. there will be minimal repairs and maintenance to equipment. G1 is chemically balanced so that in solution it will not corrode the cast parts of washing machines nor adversely affect plumbing. It rinses out of the machine, leaving no harmful residue or scum.


• As an added factor, each of these products (G1 and L.D.C.) have a soil retention agent.
