The absorption of minerals in our bodies is inefficient primarily because of the magnetic charge minerals assume during digestion. As they are digested, minerals dissolve and become positively charged metallic ions. These ions are highly “reactive” forms of the mineral and will rapidly combine with negatively charged molecules which are always present in the intestine. A reaction with some types of organic molecules, such as amino acids, creates a soluble product which can be readily absorbed into the bloodstream. There is a greater probability, however, that the metallic ion will react with a molecule that yields an insoluble product, preventing absorption. Insoluble products are eliminated from the body.
GNLD has developed an exclusive chelation process that turns this “reactive” quality of minerals to our advantage. Metallic ions are prebonded to specific amino acids. This prebonding process creates a product that encourages absorption in two ways: (1) a mineral-amino acid chelate can be absorbed directly across the intestinal membrane into the bloodstream and, (2) the mineral is protected from reacting with other molecules to form insoluble products that can only be eliminated.
GNLD’s exclusive mineral chelation is yet another GNLD technology available to help assure maximum nutritional benefit.
